Had a very comfortable stay. We were in town for a leisure weekend and the room was a great mix of old charm but the latest and greatest. Clean, friendly staff and all the amenities you could need and more. Would highly recommend and will stay again hopefully.
Stayed just the one night. Upgraded to a king room from a petite Queen; sure bed "leather" getting a little tired, but what a lovely room overall. Easily the best block out curtains we've ever experienced; 7.30am for a sleep in, thought I'd …
Whilst not very good it was good. Zero issue check in reception lovely and cheerful and afforded me an upgrade. Room decent size and clean a little worn esp bed head I was a little scared just how it bacme so ...worn like it'd been chewed! …
Didnt enjoy my stay at Peppers Gallery. Many of the basics are missing here.||At check-in the piano was so loud I couldnt hear receptionist properly. We had to speak loudly to try communicate. I was sure i heard breakfast was at 6am, which …
Service at breakfast was absolutely terrible this morning. The waitress greeting us was very demanding in telling us where to sit and the breakfast items were all running low- nobody bothered to top up the juice, glasses, fruit or pastries - it looked empty and sad definitely not worth what we paid. The hot food took a very long time to arrive. The room has significant mold in the bathroom particularly surrounding the vanity. The staff were unhelpful in explaining the limited parking situation and the rooms are cramped.
We stayed in Peppers gallery hotel this December. The staff were very welcoming with smiles our room was ready before check in time. The breakfast was very filling the serving was a good portion that kept us full, they had a choice of eggs and buffet style with many varieties. The latte was exceptionally nice and my son loved the hot chocolate. The hotel is clean and the location is great 1min walk to Electric Palace Cinema which was great, 10 to 15 minutes easy walk to the shopping area and resturants. 15 minutes walk to National Museum and walking distance to Questacon and many tourist attractions. We loved our stay at Peppers.
I've stayed at the Peppers Gallery Hotel several times over the last few months and it has quickly become my go-to hotel in Canberra.
The staff are helpful, friendly and facilitative. On my most recent trip, I really appreciated the call from the hotel with information on late check in and the ease of checking in. The rooms are clean and simple in a unique building with lots of character. The location is also great for meetings in and around Canberra.
Stayed three nights mid week on Level 1,
Check in staff on Wednesday afternoon were very friendly and helpful with providing directions for accessing the carpark then getting to our rooms, which was a bit of an adventure in itself, the Hotel is laid out peculiarly but by Midday on the second day we were providing pro-bono concierge services with anybody we found wandering in circles whenever we entered the carpark.
The restaurant and bar staff, Samantha and a chap who wore a black mask were exceptional and ran both very smoothly with every guest getting all the attention they needed to enjoy their evening. The Restaurant Food was very nice.
The room was clean and mostly well presented, the bed head seemed like it had certainly seen a few things and had the wear marks to show it, there was graffiti scratched both into the doors entry room and the frosting in the bathroom, which gave a bit of a subway feel.
The bed was comfortable, and amenities provided were appropriate.
The air-conditioner sounded like it was possibly being used to tumble gemstones while on, it was too loud to have on to sleep with and sometimes reached a volume that a conversation couldnt be held across the room.
This was our first stay at an Accor Property with our Advantage plus membership, sing our complimentary night and we did also recieve our complimentary drink voucher on arrival.
Taking into account our complimentary night and the discounted rate, I feel the accomodation matched the pricepoint
